Marion E.M. Campbell died Monday (Oct. 13, 1997) in her Ransomville Road home after a long illness. He was 96.
The former Marion Mitchell, a native of Whitestone, lived in Ransomville from 1941 to 1980. She then lived in Niagara Falls from 1980 to 1993 before returning to Ransomville in 1993.
Mrs. Campbell worked as a secretary for Cataract Ice Co. in Niagara Falls during World War II. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Franklin of Libertyville, Ill.; a daughter, Ellen Wiepert; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Friday in Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road, after prayers at 9:30 in Hardison Funeral Home, 3648 Ransomville Road.[kwlk]
