CLARENCE UNITED METHODIST SLATES ANNUAL APPLE FEST

Clarence United Methodist Church, 10205 Greiner Road, will have its 13th annual apple festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 25, offering more than 250 bushels of eight varieties of Western New York apples, 150 gallons of fresh apple cider and 600 home-baked apple pies.

Visitors can see apples squeezed into cider and apple butter cooking over open outdoor fires, said event spokesman Ray Skaine. Other features include arts and crafts, homemade baked goods, lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and a chicken barbecue from 3 to 6 p.m.
