James T. Coffee, past president of Lions Clubs International, will speak at the dinner celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Mayville-Chautauqua Lions Club to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 22 at Webb's Captains Table, Lake Road.
Coffee, a resident of Toronto, Ohio, was elected president in 1993. He had been a district governor and has received 11 international presidents awards. He also received the Ambassador of Good Will award, the highest honor granted by the organization. He was named a Helen Keller Fellow by the Lions Eye Foundation of California/Nevada and is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
