Janette Laurri, 63, of Tryon Drive, a longtime beautician, died Sunday (Oct. 12, 1997) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness.
The former Janette Ciraolo was born in Niagara Falls and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
Mrs. Laurri operated a beauty parlor on 19th Street called Jan's Beauty Shop and also ran a beauty shop from her home for many years. She worked at Tops Market in the bakery department for two years, retiring in 1994.
Mrs. Laurri enjoyed cooking, crocheting and writing.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony R.; two sons, William of Rochester and Dr. Frank R.; four sisters, Freda Corsaro, Mary Corsaro and Elaine Marra, all of Niagara Falls, and Josephine Magliarditti; a brother, Fred; and six grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be offered at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1413 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
