A 3-year-old Waterport girl was listed in critical condition Sunday night in Children's Hospital, in the wake of a Saturday night accident at Warren's Corners on the Cambria-Lockport town line.
Cassidy Johnson of Kendrick Road in Waterport, was one of five people hurt when a vehicle driven by her father Richard F. Johnson, 28, collided with one driven by Andre M. Baity, 19, of 6072 East Ave., Newfane, at 9:42 p.m. Saturday, Sheriff's Deputy Scott A. Lombardo said.
Johnson was in stable condition Sunday night in the intensive care unit of Newfane Inter-Community Memorial Hospital, where Baity was treated and released. Johnson's son Donovan, 5, was in fair condition in Children's Hospital. Johnson's wife, Renee, was treated in Lockport Memorial Hospital and released.
Lombardo charged Baity with failure to yield the right of way when he made a left turn from Cambria-Lockport Town Line Road into the path of Johnson's auto, which was eastbound on Ridge Road.
