CRASH THROUGH BUILDING
INJURES TWO MEN IN CAR

Two Lafayette Avenue men suffered head, neck, back and leg injuries this morning when their car crashed through a building and came to a stop on the inbound Jefferson Avenue off ramp of the Kensington Expressway, authorities said.

Gregory K. Young, 28, and Sean Harper, 25, were taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of the injuries, which did not appear life-threatening, according to Lt. Duane T. Rizzo, police spokesman.

Young, who was driving south on Jefferson Avenue, struck another car at 8:30 a.m. and lost control of his vehicle, causing him to crash through the doors of a structure at 845 Jefferson and travel through it, Rizzo said.

Young was charged with driving at an imprudent speed and without a license. Clarine Jetter, operator of the other vehicle, told police she and her passenger were uninjured.
