Barbara L. Lombardo, 51, a longtime Buffalo teacher, died Friday (Oct. 10, 1997) in her home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Buffalo, she received both a bachelor of science degree and a master's degree in elementary education from the University at Buffalo.
A first-grade teacher, she worked for 31 years at School 80 in Buffalo.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Gerard; her parents, Urban and Pauline Batt of Cheektowaga; two brothers, Richard Batt of Cheektowaga and Thomas Batt of Lancaster; and three sisters, Susan Kargen of Clarence, Janet Beanan of the Town of Tonawanda and Patricia Littler of Cheektowaga.
Prayers will be said at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday in Amigone Funeral Home, 1132 Delaware Ave., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Holy Angels Catholic Church, 348 Porter Ave.
