WORKSHOPS TO DISCUSS HOME AIR QUALITY

Radon, carbon monoxide and other threats to air quality in homes and other buildings will be the focus of a Nov. 6 workshop sponsored by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County.

Presentations by Lou Brehm of the county's Department of Environment and Planning are scheduled at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Cooperative Extension Center, 21 S. Grove St., East Aurora. Reservations can be made by calling the center.

The service also is offering an 11-chapter "Home*A*Syst" guide to help area residents identify and manage pollution risks and health hazards found in and around their homes.
