PET PROJECT: SOFT, CUDDLY SIBLINGS

These gray kittens are 5-month-old brother and sister and purr constantly. They are available for adoption at the Erie County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at 205 Ensminger Road, Town of Tonawanda, which is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday; and from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The $40 adoption fee includes spaying and neutering, rabies and distemper shots, deworming, a free visit to a veterinarian of choice, and a collar and tag.

The Niagara County SPCA Rainbow Animal Shelter, 2100 Lockport Road, Wheatfield, has cats and dogs for adoption from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The City Animal Shelter, 380 Oak St., has animals that need good homes. It's open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Adopt-A-Pet shelters in the area have cats and dogs available. Call 879-0311 for information.

Second Chance Sheltering Network has cats and kittens available for adoption. Call 632-7383 or 652-6051.

HEART (Hamburg Eden Animal Rescue Team) has dogs available for adoption by calling 648-1911 and cats by calling 823-8461.

The Southtowns SPCA, 1439 Pontiac Road, Angola, has animals available for adoption. Call 549-5300.
