The Lockport Invaders' defense keeps rolling along. Lockport (11-1) scored a pair of safeties en route to a 31-0 non-league minor league football victory over the Niagara Predators (1-8) at Outwater Park.

Ramone Faurez downed Predators punter Leon Scott for a second-quarter safety, then Scott was forced out of the end zone again for two more points. Quarterback Tony DiMartino ran for a score and threw a 45-yard TD to Sean McKinnie.

The Invaders, who completed their regular season with eight straight victories, will host the New Jersey Rage next Saturday in the first round of the International Football League playoffs. Lockport has allowed only 27 points in those eight games.
