Timothy E. "Rat" Lewis, a hotel housekeeper, died Thursday (Oct. 9, 1997) in Erie County Medical Center after a long illness.
Lewis was born in Niagara Falls and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
He had served in the U.S. Army.
Lewis worked in housekeeping for various hotels in the city and was an avid card player.
Lewis is survived by a son, Timothy Jr.; a daughter, Dorothy Marie; his mother, Dorothy; seven brothers, Eddie of Buffalo, Albert Sr., Tyrone, Johnny, Gregory, Mark and Elbert Jr.; three sisters, Gwendolyn, Tonya and Evangeline; a stepmother, Mary Emma Jackson; and two step-brothers, Cozell Ferrel and George Ferrel.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Rhoney Funeral Home, 1124 Ontario Ave. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
