The second "Take Back the Night March" will begin at 7 p.m. Oct. 29 in the Williams Center on the Fredonia State College campus.

A program of speakers is planned, with the march to begin about 8 p.m., according to Allyson Marino, a coordinator. The march will proceed on Temple Street and Central Avenue and return to the Williams Center, where an open forum will be held. Local police and college public safety officials will speak and listen to audience concerns.

The sponsor is the Women's Student Union with coordination of the Women's Studies Program.

The first march was held last year following an alleged attempted assault on a woman walking alone on Temple Street.
