The Buffalo Blizzard wrapped up its National Professional Soccer League preseason slate Friday afternoon with a 4-0 record by handing the Detroit Rockers a 20-12 defeat at Sportsplex in North Tonawanda.

Forward Ryan Levesque had a pair of two-point goals for the Blizzard, while defenders Chris Fox and Joe Mercik, along with Andrew McKay, added three-pointers.

"I'm very pleased with the way the team played in preseason," Buffalo coach Carlos Salguero said. "We're looking to maintain the energy and momentum for opening night."

The Blizzard opens the regular season next Saturday at 7:35 p.m. against the Montreal Impact in Marine Midland Arena.
