The Erie County Bar Association will hold a four-part series of public education seminars, The People's Law School, on Tuesday evenings, Oct. 14 through Nov. 4, at Daemen College in Amherst.
The line-up of subjects is:
Oct. 14 -- It's a New Ball Game: Recent Changes to the Law of Estate Planning.
Oct. 21 -- Consumers' Rights.
Oct. 28 -- There's a Hole in My Pocket: Handling Financial Problems.
Nov. 4 -- Patients' Rights: HMOs and Health Care Laws.
The classes will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in Daemen College's Charles J. Wick Center, 4380 Main St. in Amherst.
A $20 registration fee is required to cover the costs of the program's handouts. To register contact the Bar Association at 852-8687.
