4:05 -- 1500 Military Road, harassment. Carmen Moreno said a man drove a truck toward her son as he crossed the road.

4:20 -- 429 Sixth St., arrest. George A. Wall, 35, charged with harassment.

5:31 -- 500 block of Cedar Avenue, assault. A woman said a girl scratched her, pulled her hair, spit at her and bit her.

7:30 -- 2022 Independence Ave., burglary. Louisa M. Tanzella said someone forced open an interior garage door and entered her garage.

8:45 -- 13th Street and Linwood Avenue, arrest. Courtney D. Sistrunk, 17, of South Avenue, charged with three counts of failure to pay a fine and surcharge.

8:55 -- 1934 LaSalle Ave., burglary. Pamela G. Schul said a man took a weed whacker, bike, power ratchet and toolbox with tools from her garage after cutting a screen window to enter.

8:59 -- 1823 Pierce Ave., burglary, criminal mischief and petit larceny. Angela J. Weitzel said a woman damaged her door and frame and took her TV, stereo system and two speakers.

9 -- 13th Street and Linwood Avenue, arrest. Isaac I. Shavers Jr., 20, of Linwood Avenue, charged with failure to pay a fine and surcharge and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

9 -- 8752 Buffalo Ave., arrest. Lewis E. Cassatt, 39, charged with failure to pay a fine.

10 -- Highland and Fairfield avenues, miscellaneous investigation. An officer said he told about six men to stop hanging out on the corner and one of them threw a bottle which struck his patrol car.

10:45 -- Jordan Gardens, assault. A woman said a man pulled her hair and punched her in the face.

10:47 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., theft of services. Tim J. Zadul said a woman left without paying a cab fare of $25.50.

10:55 -- 2712 Pine Ave., criminal mischief. Ivan M. Casavant Jr. said someone put scrape marks all over his vehicle and wrote swear words on the hood.

11 -- 100 block of 62nd Street, assault. A woman said a man punched her in the face and karate kicked her in the arm.

12:30 -- 830 20th St., petit larceny. Jim L. Nashwinter of Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn, said a man entered his car and took the stereo and radar detector. Nashwinter and two witnesses chased him and subdued him until police arrived, but Nashwinter decided not to press charges.

3:50 -- 1 Niagara St., arrests. Michael W. J. Condon, 22, of Grassie, Ont., charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, and Stephen T. Witt, 23, of Smithville, Ont., charged with obstructing governmental administration.

6:40 -- 2940 Niagara St., Sanborn, arrest. Donna M. Strzelczyk, 32, charged with grand larceny, offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps.

8:16 -- Whirlpool Street and Cleveland Avenue, arrest. Michael Adamson, 35, of 11th Street, charged with menacing, reckless driving and unregistered motor vehicle after police said he threatened two men with a crow bar and drove his girlfriend's car into a tow truck.

8:35 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., Public Safety Building, arrest. Robert F. Bauer, 40, of Pershing Avenue, charged with aggravated harassment.

8:50 -- 566 79th St., petit larceny. Christy A. Grabke said someone took a scarecrow, ghost and tombstone displayed in the front of her yard.

9:15 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., arrest. Patrick M. Cummings, 37, of 70th Street, charged with possession of marijuana.

9:20 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., arrest. Paul M. Butski, 44, of 79th Street, charged with grand larceny, offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps.

9:42 -- 1314 South Ave., assault. Rosalyn I. Harris said a man struck her with his back hand and punched her in the face.

11:14 -- 1659 Ontario Ave., arrest. Tyra C. Jones, 26, charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

11:27 -- 1365 Ontario Ave., arrest. Juanita Johnson, 26, charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

11:30 -- 6020 Buffalo Ave., arrest. Joseph D. Incorvia, 28, charged with issuing a bad check.

11:30 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., arrest. Leonardo Rios, 34, of 19th Street, charged with criminal contempt.

11:31 -- 612 Niagara St., burglary. Debora A. Nugent said someone broke into her apartment and took her answering machine.

11:32 -- 837 17th St., petit larceny and criminal mischief. Rebecca A. Thomas said someone shattered a rear opera window in her vehicle and took 20 cassettes and a pair of sunglasses.

11:57 -- 1020 Portage Road, Eckerd Drugs, petit larceny. Michelle A. Little said someone took her purse from the floor and removed $22 from it.

12:10 -- 520 Hyde Park Blvd., arrest. Marc L. Dietz, 36, of Charles Street, Burt, charged with two counts of failure to appear.

12:11 -- 1346 Cleveland Ave., petit larceny. Kalidah H. Mulkey said someone took 45 CDs, a checkbook and eight cassettes from her car.

12:30 -- 400 block of Eighth Street, robbery. An 11-year-old boy said a man dragged him into a room in an apartment, punched him, took $10, and threatened to throw him out a window, but the boy ran away.

1 -- 454 18th St., petit larceny. Carolyn Marra said someone took 15 CDs and 20 tapes from her vehicle.

2 -- 353 Memorial Parkway, arrest. Jason C. Lowe, 20, charged with failure to appear.

2:30 -- 1020 Portage Road, arrest. Stephen G. Rose, 36, of Ninth Street, charged with two counts of petit larceny. The other charge came after Mark Dinieri of Precision Auto said he took 145 air fresheners.
