RTE. 16 STUDY TO BE AIRED

Conclusions of field research on development potential for Route 16 communities will be announced at a public meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 20 in the Franklinville High School Auditorium on North Main Street.

A development plan prepared by EastWest Planning & Development, Inc., a consulting firm hired by Cattaraugus County, will be unveiled. The public will be asked to review the plan's conclusions in the areas of economic development, tourism, transportation, housing and environmental issues.

Participants will help refine the plan's goals, policies and other assumptions and help establish priorities for future implementation and management.

Those planning to attend are urged to call the Cattaraugus County Planning Department.
