MAN GIVEN YEAR'S TERM FOR CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Cheektowaga Justice Thomas Kolbert sentenced a 36-year-old Cheektowaga man to a year in jail, after the man damaged a police car and spit on an
officer, court officials said.

Martin Agliata, of 4056 Union Road, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief charges, stemming from a June incident.

Police arrested Agliata for trespassing on property during a family dispute, court officials said. When officers tried to put Agliata in the police car, he kicked the right-rear door causing $300 damage. He then spit on an officer when in the Police Department's booking room, court officials said.

Kolbert also sentenced:

parent's car, court officials said.

Otis Bozeman, 29, of 176 Hagen St. in Buffalo, to 90 days in jail, after he pleaded guilty to attempted criminal mischief. Bozeman tried to steal a 1985 Pontiac from Reo Avenue in Cheektowaga in March, court officials said.
