2 MEN ARRESTED AFTER OUSTER FROM BAR

Two men who had just been thrown out of a bar were arrested when officers saw them trying to start another man's pickup truck, Officer Dennis C. Sobieraski reported Wednesday.

Kenneth J. Chase, 23, of of 163 Prospect St. and Gary M. King, 23, of Niagara Falls, Ont., were charged with attempted fourth-degree grand larceny, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Sobieraski said he and Officer Eric J. Herrington escorted the pair out of the Niagara Hotel at North Transit and Niagara streets about 2:40 a.m., at the request of the management. Moments later, the officers said they saw King and Chase in the parked pickup of Daniel Fitzgerald in front of his home at 82 Niagara St. King and Chase had to be forcibly handcuffed, Sobieraski reported.
