OUT OF ITS GOURD

Here's a recipe for an autumn favorite.
SHERRIED SQUASH

2 acorn squash

Butter or margarine

Salt

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon grated orange peel

1/4 cup sherry

Slice squash in half; remove the seeds and sprinkle squash lightly with salt.

Place on baking sheets and bake in a 350-degree oven for 45 minutes.

Sprinkle each half with sugar, orange peel and the sherry. Dot with butter. Bake for another 10 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 4 servings.
