MAN ACCUSED OF THREAT AGAINST WOMAN, CHILDREN

A 23-year-old man who allegedly threatened a woman and her two children in the Townsend Street home they share was arrested Tuesday night, police said.

Douglas Turner of the 100 block of Townsend was charged with reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a weapon, according to Broadway Station Officers Joseph Walters and Ken Szyszkowski.

Turner, who was apprehended in his car, was in possession of a rifle, two shotguns and two handguns, police said. Officers Douglas Kopp, Chris Kochesberger and Lt. Mark Michalek assisted in the 8:15 p.m. arrest.
