ELEANOR WYLEGALA, ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER

Eleanor Wylegala, 73, a retired elementary school teacher, died Monday (Oct. 6, 1997) in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness.

Born Eleanor Dombrowski in Buffalo, she was a graduate of Buffalo State Teachers College.

She taught elementary grades in the Cheektowaga Central School District for nine years and in the Sweet Home Central School District for 29 years.

A music lover, she enjoyed playing the piano.

Her husband, Richard L., a stockbroker, died in 1996.

Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth of Williamston, Mich., and Dr. Susan, and two grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mark's Catholic Church, Woodward Avenue and Amherst Street. Prayers will be said at 9:45 in Urban-Amigone Funeral Home, 3645 Genesee St., Cheektowaga. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
