A photographic exhibit by Takaaki Iwabu, "Niagara Neighbors," opens Sunday with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Castellani Art Museum on Niagara University's main campus. It runs in conjunction with "Waterways Celebration: Images of the Niagara River and Falls," including "Expressions on Niagara," an exhibition by numerous artists.

Contemporary American posters from the collection of the Art Directors and Communicators of Buffalo will be exhibited starting Friday in Daemen College's Fanette Goldman/Carolyn Greenfield Art Gallery, 4380 Main St., Amherst. A reception is scheduled that day from 7 to 9 p.m.

A fall exhibition by the Amherst Society of Artists will be held at the Waligur-Doering Gallery, 213 Main St., Hamburg, starting Sunday. There is a reception that day from 2 to 5 p.m.

Recent paintings by artist John Recco exhibited under the title "Lowell Memories" go on view in St. Bonaventure University's Dresser Foundation Gallery next Wednesday through Nov. 1. A reception and talk is scheduled at 7 p.m. opening day.

An installation by Marion Wilson called "Boy" opens Saturday with a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Olean Public Library Gallery, 134 N. Second St., Olean. The artist will give a talk the same day at 4.

"Black and White Photography" by Jeanette M. Schneider opens Tuesday with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. at the C.G. Jung Center of Western New York, 408 Franklin St.
