LANCASTER GROUP TO HEAR SUPERVISOR CANDIDATES

Lancaster's three candidates for town supervisor will participate in an Oct. 15 debate sponsored by the Lancaster Taxpayers Association.

Incumbent Supervisor Robert H. Giza, the endorsed Democratic, Right to Life and Conservative Party candidate, is being challenged in the race by political newcomers Arthur J. Rago Jr., the endorsed Republican candidate, and Henry R. Gull, the candidate of the Lancaster Independence Party.

The position, a two-year term, currently pays an annual salary of $52,397.

The debate will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Elks Club, 33 Legion Parkway.
