CRAIG A. SMALLEY SR., OWNED WALLPAPER SHOP

Craig A. Smalley Sr., who owned and operated Smalley's Wallpaper and Paint Shoppe in Lewiston, died Sunday (Oct. 5, 1997) in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, after a lengthy illness. He was 42.

Smalley, who lived on Maple Avenue, was born in Niagara Falls and also lived in Lewiston and Cambria. He was a 1973 graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School.

He operated his wallpaper and paint shop for two years in Lewiston and before that that, he was employed as a construction worker for the A-4 Construction Co. in Niagara Falls.

Smalley enjoyed high school football.

He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge in Cambria.

Survivors include his wife, the former Nancy A. Clark of Lewiston; two sons, Craig A. Jr. and Christopher R.J.; a daughter, Heather Lynn of Lewiston; two brothers, Frank C. Jr. of San Diego, Calif., and Christopher D.G. of Santa Anna, Calif., and a sister, B. Suzanne Benedict.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Road, Cambria. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria.
