A Warren, Pa., man led Jamestown police on a high-speed chase early Monday into Pennsylvania.
City police said that when they tried to pull over a car on Foote Avenue for a possible license-plate violation just after 2 a.m., the driver sped away.
The chase continued along several residential streets, south on Forest Avenue to the Busti-Sugar Grove Road and into Pennsylvania. The car was stopped with help from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department, Lakewood-Busti Police and Pennsylvania State Police.
Jeffrey Nadolny, 33, faces a string of charges in both states, including driving while intoxicated, speeding and failure to comply, police said.
