BUFFALO GETS $175,000 FOR ANTI-DRUG PROGRAM

Buffalo received a $175,000 grant from the U.S. Justice Department to continue its "Weed and Seed" anti-drug program.

The program has already established a gun "tip" hot line and a project that identifies parts of the city where drugs are being sold.

Reps. John J. LaFalce, D-Town of Tonawanda, and Jack F. Quinn, R-Hamburg, announced the grant.
