ARREST MADE IN FALLS IN PARTY SHOP ROBBERY

A South Avenue man was arrested late Monday in the Sept. 29, knifepoint robbery of the Rainbow Party Shop, 1522 Main St., Detective John Donner said.

Michael S. Goodall, 34, of 1021 South Ave. was charged with first-degree robbery and resisting arrest at 7:30 p.m. after he was found hiding under a bed in his home, Donner said.

Goodall is accused of entering the party shop Sept. 29, displaying a hunting knife and ordering owner Stephen Koturowicz, to give him the money from the cash register, Donner said. He said Goodall made off with about $40.
