I am amazed at how much time the media, judges and liberal attorneys spend fighting over the conditions in the Erie County Holding Center. Now, a federal judge has ruled that inmates can't sleep on mats and must be provided beds.
Most of us don't worry about the conditions in the Holding Center because we lead law-abiding lives. If I was arrested for an offense, such as driving while intoxicated, then I would deserve to live in those conditions because I broke the law.
We must stop this nonsense of catering to people who break the law. If the inmates don't like the conditions, they should stop committing crimes. It's time to focus on important issues, like the breakdown of the family and public safety.
