The preliminary Town of Aurora budget "does not reflect tremendous change," Supervisor William J. Green said.
While expenditures may go up slightly, the budget right now holds the line on taxes, he said.
"There are a few things I want the (town) board to consider," he said. "We could possibly come in with a half a percent increase."
Green said the budget totals about $5.3 million. Expenditures in the general fund are up about $10,000, the part-town portion could increase possibly $25,000 and the highway fund could go up $15,000, he said.
Village of East Aurora residents pay taxes on the general fund but not the part-town and highway budgets, he noted.
A public hearing will be conducted Oct. 27, and the Town Board is expected to vote on the budget that night.
