Wednesday Morning Musicale will open its 72nd season at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mark Episcopal Church, Orchard Park. Organists Marilyn Cornelius and Marlene Harrington will give a program. Other performers will be Adrienne Tworek-Gryta, Carolyn Whaley, Jane Seil, Mary Piller and Alta Mayer. Audrey Shafer, hostess chairwoman, will be assisted by Mrs. Whaley, Janiece Baldwin and Susan Wells. Lisa Vanderbrook, a speech therapist, will discuss language pathology and treatments at a meeting of Mothers of Twins Club Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Tonawanda. Also speaking will be Elyse NeMoyer, an occupational therapist. Workshops for making holiday ornaments will be conducted at meetings of Buffalo Chapter, Embroiderers Guild of America, Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in North Presbyterian Church, Williamsville. Covenant United Methodist Church, West Seneca, will have an Apple Festival Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Nazareth Guild of Nazareth Nursing Home will have its Golden Jubilee fall luncheon and fashion show at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Fanny's restaurant. Marie Capizzi is chairwoman and Dalia Dispenza is co-chairwoman. Inge Clements is in charge of tickets and Beatrice Battaglia is taking reservations. Honorarians of the Buffalo Federation of Women's Clubs will have a silent auction at a meeting Thursday 9 at 10 a.m. in University Inn. Gladys Ramsay is taking reservations.

Bishop Henry Mansell will speak at a luncheon during the annual meeting of the Buffalo Dioceses Bishop's Committee Oct. 19 in St. Andrew Catholic Church, Town of Tonawanda. The Rev. James Dugan of Canisius College will discuss the theme, "Getting in Touch With the True You," at the opening session at 9:30 a.m. Frances Ross and Alice Hangen are chairwomen. Women's Health Services of Children's Hospital and WJYE-FM Radio are sponsors of the third annual "For Women Only" dinner and fashion show Thursday at 6 p.m. in Salvatore's Italian Gardens. A silent auction and theme baskets will be included in the program. Fashions will be from Flora Hatch, Pumpkins, Maternite and Tuxedo Junction. Nancy Barrow, a morning co-host of the radio station, will be commentator. Proceeds will benefit the Women's Resource Library at the hospital. Delaware Women's Golf Club will present awards and elect officers at a dinner Thursday in Hemingway's Restaurant. Swedish Runan-Magnet Lodge of Vasa Order of America will have a white elephant auction during Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Augustana Lutheran Church, Town of Tonawanda. Plans for a Christmas luncheon Dec. 13 will be discussed. Hosts will be Earl and Mary Schilt and Beverly Rausch. Hope Kensington United Church of Christ will sponsor a Harvest Bazaar Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunches will be served at noon.
