I have been a loyal Sabres' fan for more than 25 years.
The way that Pat LaFontaine was treated by Darcy Regier and Larry Quinn was a disgrace to the hockey fans of Western New York. This should come as no surprise, however, because there was another great Sabre who, when he retired, did not even get a goodbye after playing 17 years for this same organization.
The only games that will be sold out this year will be when the New York Rangers come to town. Too bad you can't trade GMs and presidents of hockey clubs. But then again, I don't think there would be much interest in what the Sabres have to offer.
