A service for Marie F. Domedion, 84, a former Buffalo resident, was held Sept. 19 in Escondido, Calif., where she had been living since 1987. She died in her home there Sept. 15, 1997.
The former Mary Harper was born in Pike County, Ind., and moved to Buffalo when she was a child. She was employed for many years at McCall's Answering Service, then at White Bros. Rose Co., a wholesale florist, where she was called the "Orchid Lady," and as an office assistant to Dr. Norman Chaffin, retiring in 1987.
She was the widow of Edmund Sullivan and Norman Domedian.
Surviving are five daughters, Mary M. Sullivan of Olean, Helen Stollsteimer of Akron, Dolores Sullivan of Chicago, Irene Estrada of Escondido and Laura Domedion Kubik of Lake Forest, Calif.; two sons, Dennis J. Sullivan of Movato, Calif., and George W. Sullivan of LaCosta, Calif.; two sisters, Laura Revekant of Lockport and Gladys Bush of Tampa, Fla.; 24 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
