New Yorkers will have one less lottery game to test their luck beginning next week.
The New York Lottery will conduct its last "Lucky Day" drawing on Monday.
"Lucky Day" began in February as a promotional game marking the lottery's 30th birthday and now seemed a good time to end it, lottery director Jeff Perlee said.
In 33 drawings, lucky day earned $6.3 million for Aid to Education, which helps fund state schools. About 650,000 players won $5.2 million in the game, Perlee said.
