Lee E. Helsdon, 52, formerly of High Street, died Thursday (Oct. 2, 1997) in Medina Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Helsdon had been a patient in the hospital's nursing home for the past six years.
He was born in Medina and graduated from Lyndonville High School in 1963.
Helsdon worked as a laborer in the Brockport plant of Owens-Illinois Inc. for 21 years.
He enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Linda J.; three daughters, April of Albion, Amy Ackerman of Knowlesville and Lisa Botsford of Overland Park, Kan.; a son, Jason of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Shirley Wakefield of Lyndonville and Gloria Woodrow of Florida; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center St.
