A Niagara Street man was arrested Friday after he was accused of raping a 41-year-old woman in his apartment on Sept. 21, detectives Anthony Conte and John Donner said.
Kenneth D. Neil, 57, of 610 Niagara St. was charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse at 10 a.m. Friday in police headquarters. He pleaded innocent to the charges in City Court and was remanded the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
The woman said she was forced to have sex with Neil after she went to his apartment to watch a football game and have some beer, the detectives said. She was treated at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for injuries she suffered in the incident.
