2 BROTHERS CHARGED IN PURSE THEFT

Two teen-age brothers were charged with second-degree robbery Friday after they were accused of stealing a purse from a 23rd Street woman in her home on Sept. 28, said Detective William Thomson.

Daniel R. LaRoche, 18, and Joseph Allison, 16, both of 1917 Ferry Ave. were arrested at 1:30 p.m. by Thomson and Detectives Carl Berak and John Donner at 472 20th Street.

The teen-agers are accused of attending a party at a 23rd Street home and taking a purse containing an undetermined amount of money. The owner noticed her purse was missing and saw its straps hanging out from under one of the teen-agers jackets. When she went to take her purse back, the suspects hit her and fled the house, Thomson said.
