Leo Tabb, 73, owner and operator of Tabb's Bar from 1965 to 1971, died Wednesday (Oct. 1, 1997) in Mount St. Mary's Nursing Home after a long illness.
Tabb was born in Uniontown, Ala., and moved to Niagara Falls in 1948, after serving in the Army from 1943 to 1945. He worked at the former Titanium plant from 1948 to 1969. He enjoyed sports.
Survivors include four sons, Robert of Duluth, Minn., Vincent and Phillip, both of Tampa, Fla., and Roderick of Minneapolis; eight daughters, Victoria of Tampa, Fla., Antoinette Gainer of Portland, Ore., Kathleen of New York City, Cheryl Gainer, Janice Smith, Roslyn Harris, Lenore Payne and Christine Pannell; a brother, Roosevelt; a sister, Rebecca Myles of Buffalo; 38 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Williamson Funeral Home, 635 Main St. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
