A special class called "Skywarn Spotter Training" for amateur radio operators will be taught by forecasters Wednesday in the Limestone Firemen's Community Center.

Weather forecasters from the National Weather Service offices in Buffalo and State College, Pa., will lead the class at 7 p.m., according to David Thrun, RACES radio officer for Cattaraugus County.

The training is sponsored by the Cattaraugus County Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services and the McKean County Amateur Radio Club and also is open to anyone interested in weather spotter training.
