I would like to comment on a story that appeared in The News on Sept. 19 about an East Aurora drug investigation. I was blown over to learn that officers from East Aurora, the Erie County Sheriff's Department, State Police and even Orchard Park's drug-sniffing dog were used to arrest three men on the East Side of Buffalo on charges such as fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
Yet on the East Side, we cannot get anything done about the heroin and crack sales that take place in front of our homes, schools and stores every day. Is it only East Aurora that warrants such police usage to keep drugs out of their neighborhoods?
