Niagara AmeriCorps, the domestic volunteer program, has a dozen slots left to fill for 1997-98. The positions are full time, begin in this month, and carry a biweekly stipend.
Members are also eligible for health care and day care, along with a $4,725 education award that may be used either for future tuition or paying off past student loans.
The program, which focuses on Niagara County environmental issues, operates in Niagara Falls, Lockport and North Tonawanda, and is sponsored by the Health Association of Niagara County.
