CANDIDATES NIGHT SLATED IN CLARENCE TOWN HALL

Clarence voters will have the opportunity to hear candidates express their views at a "Meet the Candidates Night" at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 23 in Clarence Town Hall.

Candidates vying for local, state and county seats in the Nov. 4 election have been invited to appear in the forum jointly sponsored by the Clarence League of Women Voters of the Greater Buffalo Area and Chamber of Commerce.

The event features timed platform presentations, questions from the audience and a refreshment period for candidates to greet the public informally, said Carol Chur, spokeswoman for the league.

Voters in November will select a supervisor, highway superintendent, receiver of taxes and assessments and three council members.
