BOYS WOUNDED AS MEN EXCHANGE SHOTS

Two boys, one only 8, were shot and seriously wounded Wednesday when they were caught in cross fire as they sat on a stoop in a West Philadelphia neighborhood. A third boy suffered a leg wound.

The boys were taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The 8-year-old and 14-year-old boys were sitting on the stoop of an abandoned building when three to five men began shooting at each other, police said.

A 15-year-old, who was shot in the leg, walked two blocks to get help. Authorities believe the shoot-out was drug-related.
