Alumnae of the former St. Mary's Seminary will have a reunion dinner Oct. 11 in Tan Tara Golf Club, North Tonawanda, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the school's closing. Cocktails at 6 p.m. will precede the dinner.
Proceeds will benefit the Sisters of St. Mary Namur who operated the private school for girls at North and Franklin streets for 55 years, closing in 1972. Sister Marie Juilianne Farrington of Namur, Belgium, a Buffalo native and first American to head the international order, will attend. Alumnae are asked to take school memorabilia. Kathy Fisher Nelson and Barbara Campagna are chairwomen. Reservations are being taken by Donna Reilly Wanamaker and Barbara Ruel Borkowski.
