UNITED WAY OF NIAGARA REACHES ONE-THIRD OF GOAL

The United Way of Niagara is nearly one-third of the way toward its goal of raising $1,340,000 in pledges and donations by
Nov. 7.

Campaign Chairman William Lessig announced Tuesday that $405,777 has been raised during the first three weeks of the eight-week fund-raising drive. That figure amounts to about 30 percent of the goal.

Donations to the United Way help to support 19 member agencies that provide more than 150 specialized programs and services in western Niagara County.
