Pearl Broecker, 69, of Lindhurst Drive, a retired bookkeeper and office manager at Briody Health Care Facility, died Sunday (Sept. 28, 1997) in Lockport Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
A native of Lockport, the former Pearl Thilkey had worked for more than 18 years at the nursing home before she retired in 1990. She also formerly worked at First Presbyterian Church, the Union-Sun & Journal and Kendall Refining.
Her hobbies included cross-stitching, bowling and golf.
Her first husband, Albert Barron, died in 1977.
Surviving are her husband, Ray Broecker; two daughters, Mary Louise Barron of Alden and Lynn Marie Barron; a brother, Russell Thilkey of Gainesville, Fla.; and a sister, Audrey Piparato of Syracuse.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church St. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
