A 13-year-old North Tonawanda boy suffered neck injuries when he drove a southbound car through a red light on Portage Road and struck a car driven by Tina Romano, 31, of 18th Street that was westbound on Walnut Avenue at 2:06 a.m. Tuesday,
Officer Franco Tallarico said.

The 13-year-old, whose name was withheld because of his age, was released after treatment in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, a hospital official said. His passenger, Peter Hubbard, 16, also was released from the hospital after treatment for face and neck injuries, the official said.
