Keith A. Gilmore Sr., 76, of Virginia Avenue, who retired in 1983 from National Fuel Gas, died Sunday (Sept. 28, 1997) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a long illness.
A native of Malden, W.Va., Gilmore was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
In 1946, he moved to Niagara Falls.
He worked 23 years for National Fuel Gas as a meter reader and supervisor.
He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and reading.
Survivors include his wife, the former Myral Lewis; two sons, David V. of Tallahassee, Fla., and Keith A.; a daughter, Valerie Fuller of Richmond, Calif.; a brother, Elmer of Rocky Mount, Va.; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Emmanuel Church, 3118 Hyde Park Blvd.
Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
