Dairymen and milk producers will discuss pricing between 1 and 4 p.m. Saturday in the Corporate Building on the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds.
Mark Stephenson, state milk-marketing specialist for Cornell University, will explain how milk is priced and how current industry factors affect prices.
Positive and negative aspects of the Northeast Dairy Compact will be evaluated by Patrick Hooker of the state Farm Bureau.
The benefits of milk and dairy product advertising will be addressed by Michele Martin of the American Dairy Association and Dairy Council.
The meeting is sponsored by the Cattaraugus County Grange, the county Farm Bureau and the county's Cornell Cooperative Extension.
