JOSEPH C. QUAGLIANA

A Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph C. Quagliana, 73, a truck driver and former owner of a flower shop, will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Road, Town of Hamburg.

The Mass will follow prayers at 9:45 in Castiglia Funeral Home, 873 Abbott Road. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Lackawanna.

Quagliana, a Buffalo native, died Thursday (Sept. 25, 1997) at his Orchard Park home.

He was a retired truck driver for Siegfried Construction and a member of Local 449 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

He and his wife, Rose, operated Joseph's Flowers on Abbott Road from 1963 to 1980.

Quagliana had a lively sense of humor and liked taking things apart in the house, not always getting them back together, according to his son, Joseph of Orchard Park.

In addition to his wife and son, survivors include two daughters, Jennifer and Marie, both of Orchard Park; a brother, Sam; and a granddaughter.[mbbe]
