Two teen-agers have been charged, and the suspected getaway driver faces a charge, in connection with a burglary at a local restaurant, police said Friday.
Mark A. Meyers, 17, of North Street and David J. Laudico, 17, of East Main Street, were charged with burglary, petit larceny and criminal mischief following a break-in early Sunday at an unidentified eatery. They were arrested late Thursday, police said.
A warrant has been issued for Jonathan D. Hopkins, 18, of Stinson Road, on a charge of criminal facilitation, police said. He allegedly drove the two other defendants to and from the scene of the crime.
Police said money was stolen from the restaurant, and there was some damage inside the building. The crime was investigated by Chief John Laird, Sgt. John Rix, Officer Michael Hamm and other department members.
